Another Kickstarter Success–Thank You!

In 30-days we raised a grand total of $16,132 (108% of our goal) from 120 backers, our campaign was shared over 1,500 times on Facebook and even more on Twitter, and our campaign video was viewed over 1,000 times. We couldn’t have done this without each and every one of you, and we won’t forget that.

Thank you so much,

Crowdfunding Report: Day 9

Hey Narrow Road friends,

Thank you so much for your support during Launch Week!  Because of YOUR help, as of today we’ve raised almost $5,800, close to 40% of our goal, our project video has been viewed 650 times, and our Kickstarter page has been shared almost 1,000 times on Facebook.  There’s no way we could do this without all of you and your willingness to share in the success of this novel (and someday hopefully, the movie).  We won’t forget that.

Thank you so much if you’ve backed the project or shared it with your networks.  If you’re new to the project or haven’t yet pledged support or shared our page, please consider doing so.  With your help, we’re looking forward to an even stronger second week.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

2013 168 Film Competition

The Narrow Road team is excited to announce that we’ll be competing in this year’s 168 film competition for a grand prize of up to $1 Million for the production of a feature-length film!

The Narrow Road writer and producer, Erik Yeager, will be producing and co-writing the short script with top-rated script doctor, Howard Allen.  Erik will also be directing.

Anthony Tyler Quinn is confirmed in a yet-to-be-determined leading role, and the Narrow Road team is excited for this opportunity to re-unite for our first group project since the Narrow Road Test Scene.

As always, you can support us by making a tax-deductible donation to The Narrow Road through our 501(c)(3) non-profit sponsor, Filmmakers Collaborative, Inc.  Your support is appreciated and will go a long way toward helping us ensure the strongest entry possible and the best chance at winning the Grand Prize!

We’ll keep you posted on our 168 project entry here on the Narrow Road website.  Please check in regularly for the latest.

Novel Release Delayed

Due to creative differences between the Narrow Road novel co-author/publisher and the Narrow Road creative team, the novel release will be delayed while Erik Yeager (screenwriter and producer) completes writing work on the novel alone and seeks out a new publishing deal.  We apologize for the delay as we seek to release the best possible product, and expect only a slight delay with an estimated completion date of early-mid December.

Thank you for your patience and continued support.

We’ve got an editor!

The Narrow Road team is thrilled to announce that Chris Witt, editor of the 2010 Academy Award-nominated short film, Kavi, has agreed to terms to join the Narrow Road team as Editor!

Chris is an acclaimed motion picture editor residing in Los Angeles, California.  His exceptional work has been recognized with many awards and nominations worldwide, which includes Kavi (2009), a short film about modern slavery that earned Chris and the Kavi team a 2010 Academy Award Nomination.  Other noteworthy projects include the short film, The Butterfly Circus (2009), an Internet sensation co-starring our own Doug Jones and the recipient of the 2010 Clint Eastwood Filmmaker Award, and many other awards that you can read about on Chris’ website.

We’re very excited to have Chris on our team and feel confident that his involvement will help to further demonstrate the merits of a film that can attract such acclaimed talent.
